Q3: Iron (III) reacts with the Chelating agent HL to give a complex Fel3 that is readily soluble in CHCI3. A spectrophotometric study shows that when a 1.5x10-4 M aqueous solution of iron was extracted with CHCl3 containing 0.0250M HL, the analytical concentration of iron at pH 6.00 in the two phases were 1.0 x 10-4 *M (upper [Fe3+]) and 5.0 x10-SM (lower[FeL3]). If 50.0 mL of 1.00 x 10-5 M Fe3+ in a pH 6.00 buffer were to be extracted with 25.0 mL portions of 0.100 M HL in CHCl3, how many extractions would be required to remove 99.5% of the iron from the aqueous phase
