For the following circuits, collect data for both charging and discharging the capacitor(s): #1-Wire the 100 kq resistor in series with the 10 pF capacitor. #2- Wire the 47 kN resistor in series with the 10 uF capacitor. #3- Wire the 100 ka resistor and two 10 pF capacitors such that all three elements are in series with one another. #4-Wire two 10 uF Capacitors in parallel with one another, wire this combination in series with the 100 kq resistor. Compare circuits 1 and 2; qualitatively describe the result of changing the resistance on the way the capacitor charged and discharged. Compare circuits 1, 3 and 4; qualitatively describe the result of changing the capacitance on the way the capacitor charged and discharged. Compare each experimental and theoretical time constant; do they agree with each other within their uncertainties?
