The major diameter of the shaftis 1.25". The shaft is well lubricated and has thread pitch of 1/8". The power screw friction is measured about 0.075. The collar friction is measured about 0.1 and collar bearing diameter is 2.5". The total length oflift mechanism is 10" a. Estimate the required torque to lift up the full payload in ft-lb.
