A 180° PVC pipe bend is used to construct a DIY home garden as shown in Figure Q4 (a) below and placed on the garden horizontally. Meanwhile Figure Q4(b) shows the illustration of the pipe bend with inlet flow cross sectional diameter of 10 cm and outlet is 8 cm. The flow rate in the pipe is 0.06 mº/s and the pressures at the inlet and outlet of the bend are 200 kPa and 160 kPa respectively.
