Alan and Loretta have been married for 25 years. They have two
children, aged 22 and 16, and live in a large home just west of

separating. Because of the high cost of rent, Alan decided to move

on January 28th, 2022. Before getting married, Alan and Loretta
signed an agreement whereby if they divorced:
- Loretta would keep the home
- Alan would keep his company pension and RSPs
- They would split the remainder to ensure an equitable
distribution of assets
- Loretta would gain sole custody of the children, and Alan would
be able to visit with them once every 2 weeks
What aspects of this agreement are invalid?

agreement
b.

were married
