Heat Addition paten 1. Assume that the engine is operating in the Otto cycle and that Cum=5R/2 for the fuel-air mixture initially at 298K (cold reservoir temperature). The mixture is compressed adiabatically by a factor of 8. What is the temperature of the hot reservoir? What is the maximum theoretical efficiency of this engine? What would be the efficiency if the mixture is compressed by a factor of 30? Would it be a good technical approach? Heat Compression
