While money matters to both the company and the employees, there
are other things that will influence and affect an employee's
performance. These motivators are important when developing a
complete package for a company's employees. If you were
establishing the non-monetary compensation/motivators for a company
what would be your top five recommendations and why? Keep in mind
that vacation time, insurance, day care assistance all involve
money. Your ideas must go beyond these type of items. They will
involve some administrative time but that is okay. It is part of
the HR function. Also, ideas that involve a minimal one-time
investment but benefit for all employees are fair game. Be creative
and feel free to do some outside research or talk about your
personal experience.
