2. The skin exposure to a radiographer performing a portable examination is 10 mR. The radiographer is standing at the end of the 6 foot exposure switch cord attached to the portable console. The patient and x-ray tube are located 2 feet on the opposite side of the console during the examination. If the radiographer does not use the extension cord and instead stands at the console, what will be the dose?
