A nurse interprets the following ABG values as:
pH 7.46
CO2: 33
HCO3: 24
When I draw it out they look like the pH is just slightly
acidic, CO2 is alkaline, and the Bicarb is within a normal range...
so I am not too sure what is wrong. Answer choices are:
- respiratory alkalosis (what I think it is)
-Metabolic Acidosis
-Metabolic alkalosis
-Respiratory acidosis
