Hello I need someone to reword this please thank you
The common elements of communication are:
i) The sender: The sender is the main
source of information. He initiates communication and chooses the
best ways to convert ideas into words to the intended audience
using clear and concise direction, and ensures that the receiver
understands the message the way it was intended.
ii) Audience: They are people who come in
contact with the sender. The nature of the audience enables the
sender to structure the information necessary for them (audience)
to understand the meaning and purpose of the message conveyed to
them. As explained in the video by Simon Sinek about structure of
presentation, the sender has to come up with good analogy to
capture the idea that he is going to be presenting, for the
audience to better understand.
iii) Purpose: The writer's purpose is to
put thoughts and feelings together in writing; to make connection
with the intended audience for them to understand the main idea of
the information provided. On the video, Shaun from Smrt English
explains that the hook should engages the reader and introduce the
topic. This means that the hook is the key connection to capture
the audience's attention, and for them to decide if they are still
interested on the information or not before introducing the main
topic.
iv) The message: Message is the
information conveyed either by speech or writing. The message is
the content of communication by the sender to the
receiver. The message is what Shaun from Smrt English refers to as
the "body". This is where the sender includes all
details, description, examples, narration and every content of the
information necessary for the audience to get a clear understanding
of what the sender is talking about.
v)Response: Response is the reaction of
the receiver after getting the message/information. Response
conveys the sensitivity and understanding of the message by the
audience. The audience can either agree or disagree in response to
the message conveyed to them. As explained in the video by Simon
Sinek, when the sender shares what he knows, his discoveries and his
ideas with no expectations of anything in return the response can
be people (audience) become fans and curious to know
more.
Why do you believe these elements are
important?
The elements of communication are important because they lead to
understanding, and helps in making decisions using the necessary
information that is provided, hence building trust and corporation
between the sender and the audience
