Acetone (nail-polish remover) has a very distinct smell. Vapor
pressure above pure acetone is 0.20 atm. If you dissolve a
non-volatile chemical (0.5 moles of caffeine) in acetone (15 mol),
what will be the resulting vapor pressure above the solution?
2 g (and no more) of gaseous sulfur hexafluoride dissolves in
100 g of water at room temperature. Will you be able to dissolve
more or less (or same amount) of that gas at 50 oC?
