Spend some time in the community observing people. Maintain your social distance. Choose a place where you will find many people walking around. Example sites: Grocery stores such as Super Target or Walmart, a community festival gathering/picnic, or the airport. Choose one person to concentrate on. Complete the grid and questions below. Please be respectful of privacy and be professional. Do not take pictures. . -Gather facts. Collect data. What do you see, hear, smell? Describe characteristics or and wearing a behaviors you are observing. I saw an elderly women walking with crutches. walking boot. -Analyze your data. Organize the data. Can you provide details for their course of action? Determine the effectiveness of your plan. What would you see if the plan you created for this person was effective or ineffective? Where did you do your observation? Did this impact your data? What similarities/differences do you see as compared to the Nursing Process? Indicate 2 things you learned from this activity.
