In the conclusion of chapter one of the text, it states, "Managers should be trained in human resources management concepts to be effective supervisors and leaders of their employees. This is true in small organizations that do have complex organizational structure..." (Niles, 2013 p. 16). Knowing this please answer the following question. As the new HR director for a small non-profit agency, you immediately recognize that morale is at an all-time low, turnover is high, and patients and their families have been filing multiple complaints with regulatory agencies. When you meet with managers to gain a better understanding; they immediately become defensive and begin to blame employees. Now that the meeting is over you are to meet with senior leadership to discuss your recommendations. What recommendations would you make to senior leadership? Remember: use your past experiences along with the reading to develop your answer. Remove your emotions and think like a leader. Try to avoid the dreadful 'T' word (Termination).
