You are to design a regulated voltage supply to power a 10 V DC motor. The available unregulated supply, from a half wave rectifier, has a ripple voltage 5% of the peak voltage of 20 V. The current to the motor varies from 10 mA to 50 mA. i) Draw a clearly labelled circuit diagram using the correct symbols of the voltage regulator. ii) Calculate the resistance required and then the minimum power rating that can be used for the resistor.
