Question 1 En Khalish, an amateur investor is currently analyzing the pattern of stock prices trading in the stock market. Even though market is now plummeted, but he discovered that few stocks are actively trades especially in a sectors such as oil and gas, transportation and energy. Thus, he plans to put his investment in a proportion investment of 40% in Bumi Armada Bhd, 35% in Sea Link Bhd and 25% in Eco Solar Bhd representing the oil and gas, transportation and energy respectively. He performed a statistical analysis and results indicated that the correlation of stocks is -0.875, standard deviation portfolio is 12.38% whilst the weighted average standard deviation of individual securities is 23.57%.
