3. (Poisson Distribution). A Geiger counter is monitoring the leakage of alpha particles from a container of radioactive material. Over a long period of time, an average of 54.4 particles per minute is measured. Assuming that modelling of the arrival of particles at the counter by a Poisson distribution is appropriate, (i) find the probability that at least one particle arrives in a particular 6 second period; (ii) find the probability that at least two particles arrive in a particular 7 second period. Please give a complete solution to the problem.
