Your partner has told you that it rains 20 days a year and that
the cafeteria serves pasta once a week. Assuming that they
live in the dorms and eat in the caffeteria every day. How
would they calculate the probability of it being a rainy day on
which the caffeteria served pasta?
They would take the product of the freqeuncy or rainy days and
1/7.
They would use the product rule and the summation rule
they should not use the product rule because the two events are
not independent.
They can take the number of rainy days and divide by the nuber
of day on which pasta is served
None of these are true.
