For a given line of best fit, you compute that r = 0 using n =
100 data points. Can the line be used for prediction? Why or why
not?
r=0 and the sample size, n=100. The df=n−2=99. The
critical value does not matter so r is significant.
r=0 and the sample size, n, is 100. The df=n−2=99. The
critical values show that r is significant.
r=0 and the sample size, n, is 100. No matter what the
dfs are,r=0 is always between the two critical values in
the chart so r is not significant.
r=0 does not tell us anything.
