A solid sphere A of rolls without slipping until it reaches a
spring stopper (spring constant k) at the end of track. The sphere
starts to roll from rest at position 1 and then reaches the end of
the curvilinear portion at position 2 before it is put to a stop by
the spring stopper at position 3. (a) What is the total Kinetic
Energy of the system at Position 2? (b) What is the magnitude of
the velocity of the sphere at position 2? (c) What is the expected
deflection (in mm) of the spring at position 3?4
