Draw a phospholipid bilayer but include two transmembrane
proteins, one of them being an aquaporin, and another with ATP.
add a concentration gradient of oxygen across the membrane and
diagram how it would cross the membrane using arrows. (show if it
just cross the phospholipid bilayer, or does it use a transport
protein (one of the transmembrane proteins you've drawn)
add gradient of water across the membrane and diagram the
most effective mechanism for it to cross the membrane using arrows.
(show if it just cross the phospholipid bilayer, does it use
aquaporins, or a membrane protein with ATP?)
add a concentration gradient of a large polar molecule.
Diagram the molecule crossing the membrane against (or
up) its concentration gradient using arrows.
(show if it just cross the phospholipid bilayer, or one of the
transmembrane proteins you've drawn?)
