A team of astronomers wants to measure the secondary eclipse spectrum of WASP-96b. They have a choice of instruments which will allow them to observe the eclipse over different wavelength ranges. Instrument A is sensitive to wavelengths between 0.4 and 0.9 microns, and instrument B will allow them to look at wavelengths from 1.0 to 2.5 microns. Explain, using calculations to justify your answer, which instrument you would recommend to the team. WASP-96 is a G8 type star with an effective temperature of 5540 K.
