Judy and Juan believe that they must volunteer at least once a
week because it a part of their cultural beliefs. If they do not,
based on their culture, they believe they will die an unhappy and
painful death at an early age. Thus, they always help others at
least once a week.
Answer both questions:
A: Why would Kant find this version of “helping others”
problematic?
B: How would The Rachels address this unique culture belief,
would they instantly judge or would they try to understand
first?
