Efficiency, Equity, Esthetic
Koppes focuses on three aspects of the conservation movement
that continue to influence policy through mid-century: efficiency,
equity, and esthetic (sometimes spelled aesthetic). Choose at least
one of these aspects and show how it was represented in the
Progressive Era (readings for weeks 2 and 3) and the New Deal Era
(this week: Koppes and Maher). Are these all equally important to
