A block that is 5 m wide and .5 m tall is subjected to three forces and a moment as shown in figure The forces have magnitudes 200 N and 300N. The 200 N force travels from point D to a point on the beam 2 meters from point A this force acts on the surface of the block. The Moment is exerted at 4m from point A and has magnitude of 50 N-m. Point A is a pin and point B is a roller. Note: The 300 N force does not go through point A. The pin at point A is at the midpoint of the block (i.e. .25 m above point B).
