A 3.28 kg block is held against a compressed spring and “shot”
across a horizontal frictional surface (mk = 0.12). After traveling
1.52 meters, the block is moving at 5.52 m/s when it bounces off a
flat wall and rebounds at 4.38 m/s.
Is the collision with the wall elastic or inelastic?
(please show formulas and calculations, thank you)
