Given the following process: G₁ == / a) Can you stabilize this process using a P-only controller? Use Routh-Hurwitz criterion. b) Can you stabilize this process by using a PI controller? Use Routh-Hurwitz criterion, and determine the range of controller settings for stability. c) Confirm your results in part (i) and (ii) using Simulink: Connect P and PI controllers to the process and demonstrate that consistent results with those from analytical calculations are obtained using various controller parameter values.
