A vertical sided retention basin has an area of 20,000m². The outlet is a 10m wide ogee crested weir with outlet formula Q = 2.1WH1.5, where Q is discharge, W is width, and H is the height of water above the crest of the weir. At the start of a storm the water level is 0.5m below the crest of the weir (Le storage volume starts at -10,000 m³). During that storm the following inflows are registered at 2-minute intervals. Time (mins) Inflow (m³/s) 0 0 2 80 4 340 6 545 8 450 10 220 12 175 14 60 16 0 Use the Explicit Euler method to show that the peak outflow from the retention basin is approximately 307 m³/sec
