The bottom of the slabs have been provided with 12 mm dia bars spaced at 200 in the short direction while 250 mm o.c in the long direction. The slabs are 140 mm thick. Assume that the centroid of short direction bars is 30 from the face of concrete under tension while those in the long direction, 42 mm. fc' = 28 MPa, fy = 275 MPa 1.
