As shown in Figure 14.73, there is a plate with a circular hole with a diameter d = 5 mm. The plate is subjected to a tensile load of F = 500 N. The width of the plate is a = 13 mm and the thickness is b = 3 mm. If the stress concentration factor due to the hole is k = 2.25, calculate the following.
(a) Stress at cross section cc away from the hole
(b) Stress at section ee through the center of the hole
(c) Maximum stress generated in section ee
