1. Three, 500 ohms resistors are connected in a star across 220V, 3 phase supply. Calculate the total power by the load if one of the resistors is disconnected. 2. A two wattmeter method is being implemented in a balanced delta connection load being supplied by 220 line voltage. If the readings are W₁-500W and W₂= 400W. Calculate the per phase average reactive power. 3. A delta connected load of ZAB=112-45° ohms, Zbc=724-30° ohms and ZCA=4220° ohms are connected across 220V, 3 phase source. Determine the magnitude of the phase current IAB. Assume ABC sequence. 4. Calculate the magnitude of the line voltage of a balanced 6-phase mesh-connected source with phase voltages equal to 220V. 5. Determine the consumed power and reactive power in a 3 phase, 3 wire system with the following characteristics: VRY=220<0°V, VyB=220/240°V and IR=422-51° A and IB=72/32°.
