Question 2 (a) For the circuit of Figure 2a, replace the source potential divider with its Thevenin equivalent circuit by evaluating the Thevenin equivalent source and its equivalent resistance and redraw the circuit. The resistors have values of R₁ = 3 kN, R₂ = 1 kN and R₁ = 750 2 and the voltage source has a value of V = 12 V. Hence, calculate the current I, which flows through the resistor R₁.
