A 48 kVa, 4800/480 V and 60 Hz step-down transformer feeds an 18kW load at the specified voltage and a power factor of 0.5 in arrears. Determine the additional load that you must connect to the transformer so that it feeds at full load with the specified voltage and a power factor equal to the unit. If each charge consists of a combination in series R, L and C, what are its values?
