Question 4. [20] The figure below shows a simple single-phase ac power system with three loads. The voltage source is V=24020° V, impedances of these three loads are: Z₁ = 10/30° 22, 10245° 0 and Z3 = 102-90° N. Z₂ = a) Assume that the switch in the figure is open. Calculate the current I, the power factor, and the real, reactive, and apparent power being supplied by the source. b) How much real, reactive, and apparent power is being consumed by each load with the switch open? c) Assume that the switch in the figure is now closed. Calculate the current I, the power factor, and the real, reactive, and apparent power being supplied by the source. d) How much real, reactive, and apparent power is being consumed by each load with the switch closed?
