A student uses a 4 mL volumetric pipet to transfer a vinegar
sample to an Erlenmeyer flask, and adds 3 drops (0.15 mL) of PHTH
indicator solution. After pre-treating and filling the buret, the
student notes an initial solution level of 1.56 mL on the buret.
The student records a concentration of 0.1673 M NaOH. The student
adds the NaOH solution dropwise to the vinegar with swirling until
a faint and persistent pink color is observed. The student records
a solution level of 21.74 mL on the buret. What is the molar
concentration of acetic acid in this vinegar sample?
