We all know about combatting malware on our own personal
computers. Securing a Cisco Network has similar concerns, but
requires different ways of dealing with threats. This week, we’re
learning about malware, sniffing, session hijacking, and denial of
service (DOS) attacks.
Choose one of the topics that really stood out to you and
describe how you would explain the threat to the CEO of your
company. Based on what you learned, what do you think would be a
good way to mitigate the risk your company’s computer systems would
face? In this scenario, your company is small, so you are the
only defense. What will you suggest? Provide enough detail so that
the CEO will understand the potential threat and the proposed
solution in simple terms.
