This required Written Assignment is your opportunity to provide feedback about this Lab course as well as to explore how Physical Geography might relate to your career/academic plans. It takes the place of our "Final Exam" and is worth 20 points total. Please do not email any assignments to me. You must submit through Canvas, but you can view the assignment to check out all of the questions and "retake" the assignment. There is research required for the last question, which I'm reprinting here for your reference: "In approximately 1½ pages (or more, assuming standard formatting of 12pt, single spaced font), describe how physical geography can be important to someone with your specific career/academic goals. One suggestion is to Google your field and "GIS" or "GPS" or "Remote Sensing", which are aspects of geography that are commonly used by people in other fields. Part 3 of Lab 12 describes a bit about GIS, although we did not complete the assignment related to it. Feel free to refer to other sources, just make sure you cite those sources. Anything not in your own words must be contained within quotation marks and have a cited source. Plagiarizing will result in a score of zero for this assignment. You are free to choose any standard citation format.
