A solid timber (s=0.75) floats in oil (s=0.90). The base is a
square 300 mm on a side. (5.a) Can it float upright if its height
is 360 mm? Show calculations. (5.b) What is the maximum height (in
mm) of the timber if it can just float upright in oil?
