The following reflective writing tasks is a way of requesting you to critically evaluate and make connections between the theories and practice you are engaging within this unit and can guide you to become more aware of your personal thoughts about your life experiences in relation to those theories.
Reflective writing is not just a description or summary of something that you have observed. Instead, reflective writing requires you to describe, analyse and evaluate.
Requirement:
Students are required to collect 10 articles from reputable sources (peered review journal articles, newspaper articles etc.…) and to write a reflection of approximately 350 words on each article. It is suggested you use about 150 words to summarise the article and the remaining 200 words to reflect. Also, please provide a link or copy of the chosen article.
The selection of the various topic articles should relate to the different areas we looked at in our lecture/seminars.
Students are required to submit reflections of the first five articles in Week 5 and the remainder in week 12.
All reflections will be marked holistically.
