decreases when NH4Cl(s)
is added (motivate your answer).
b. When a 0.500 L 0.150 M NH3(aq) solution is titrated with a
0.075 M HI(aq) solution at
25 oC, calculate the pH after addition of 0.400 L HI(aq) solution
(Kb = 1.8 × 10-5 for
NH3).
c. The solubility product (Ksp) for MgCO3 is 3.5 × 10-8.
i. Calculate the molar solubility for MgCO3 in water.
ii. Calculate the molar solubility for MgCO3 in a 0.10 M
MgCl2(aq) solution.
