The goal of this assignment is to help you to begin creating a Professional Development Plan, and to get you ready for participating in quality assurance processes upon your registration. The plan can be used to help guide your activities in the program for the second year.
For this assignment, please do the following:
Review relevant BCCNM materials: Requisite Skills and Abilities, Entry-Level competencies and Standards of Practice (Professional Standards, Scope of Practice, and Practice Standards).
Review the resources on reflection and self-assessment or find you own as needed.
Spend some time reflecting on your previous practice and current learning.
Identify a minimum of four learning goals. These goals should be SMART.
Connect each learning goal to a BCCNM Standard of Practice, Entry-Level Competency, and/or Requisite Skills & Abilities
Develop a minimum of strategies to help you reach each goal.
Put these goals and strategies a document that will act as a guide for your development plan. NOTE: This is YOUR plan, so it can look like anything you want it to be.
