After learning about this theory of development, what do you think of the concept of adding a new stage, "Emerging Adulthood" between adolescence and young adulthood? Also, since the life span is getting longer and longer in the 21st century, should this theory be adjusted in regards to the stages of middle age and old age? Also, what is your overall opinion of this theory, and the premise that we have a "crisis" in each stage that needs to be resolved for us to continue to develop? Can you relate this theory to any experiences in your own life?
