Two waves with a wavelenght λ = 0.3m propagate in the x-y plane, after being emitted from sources located at x₁ = (0, -0.5) and x₂ (0, 0.5), to converge on a screen oriented parallel to the y axis at a point with coordinates (20,1). All coordinates are given in meters. If the wave equation of these waves are: E₁ = 3.2 N/c sin(wt − (kx + ε₁ )) and E₂ 2.3 N/c sin(wt + (kx + ε₂)) - = a) For &₁ = 2 = 0, what is the amplitude and phase of the resultant wave at that point in the screen? b) For &₁ = 2 = 0, Find a point on the screen where the amplitude of the resultant is a minimum and a point where the resultant is a maximum.
