Create a complex problem and solve it step by step with
explanation using the diagram below of the bottle
fountain. The formulas and topic to use should be Potential Energy
and Universal Law of Gravity. USE THE
INFORMATION BELOW TO DEVEOP A PROBLEM. WRITE OUT THE
PROBLEM.
Now the water is to be delivered to a height above h above the
bottle. If the acceleration due to gravity is g (9.81metre per
second square) and the mass flow of water is constant m (say) then
the potential work will do the work against the gravity work and
the PE is given by:
PE=mgh (in general)
assuming the height of the nozzle of the fountain is H above the
upper bottom. The total potential energy can be given as
PE=mg(h+H) where the water delivered will rotate the straw at
the upper end.
The vertical bottle fills up and through the pipe it starts
rising till it reaches the end of the inverted pipe over here the
energy stored by the water is potential energy and the formula used
is
Potential energy = mgh where m is mass of water, g is
the gravity and h are the height of the water from where it is
falling.
4. The energy after the end of the pipe and over the blade is
the universal law of gravitation which is given by:
F = Gm1m2/r2.
