= (b) A giant molecular cloud with mass M 104Mo, radius R= 0.1 parsec, and temperature T 10 K is hypothesised to be composed of exotic matter. For each proton there is apparently a free fermion of a very small unknown mass mf. The fermions are believed to be cold, degenerate, non relativistic, and provide as much pressure support as the non degenerate thermal protons. Using this information, estimate mf for the exotic fermions. Evaluate the self-consistency of this scenario.
