(i) State the quantities that are conserved in a perfectly elastic and inelastic collision. (2 marks) (ii) Air bags in vehicles are to prevent passengers from severe injuries during collision. Use the theory of impulse-momentum to explain. (3 marks) (iii) A mini robot with mass of 2 kg moving with a velocity of 20 m/s suddenly collides head-on with another robot with same mass that is moving in the opposite direction with velocity of 8 m/s. If the collision is perfectly elastic, find the velocity after collision for both robots. State the direction after collision for both robots. (5 marks)
