(b) A soil sample was collected in Alor Gajah, Melaka which is denoted as sample NSR has been sieved for design purposes and the results are shown in Figure Q1(a). (i) Analyse the soil sample groups accordance to the appropriate classification and standard used. (ii) Briefly discuss the NSR sample characteristic based on Table Q1 and use Figure Q1(c) or Figure Q1(d), given liquid limit and plastic limit of sample NSR is 38% and 31%, respectively.
