1. Open the Frame Guide drawing.
2. Set up four more layers
Layer Name Layer Color Layer Linetype
a. Dimensions Green Continuous
b. Notes Blue Continuous
c. Title Block Magenta Continuous
d. Center_lines Red Center line2
3. Set up a new dimensioning style and keep the Standard dimension
style unchanged
a. Dimension style name DIM2PLACE
b. Set the decimals to two place decimals
c. Turn off the leading zeros
4. Add the Center lines as needed.
5. Dimension the drawing using industry standard practices.
6. Insert the B Size Title block on the title block layer at
insertion point 0,0
a. Drawing name: FRAME GUIDE
b. Drawing number: Finale
c. Drawn by: your name
d. Scale: 1:1
e. Date: today’s date
6. Add this note on the Notes layer. Place the note in the open
area in the upper right hand corner
of the drawing.
a. Note: 1. ALL ROUNDS AND FILLETS R.125
2. BREAK ALL SHARP EDGES
3. MATERIAL: CRS
4. NUMBER REQUIRED: 12
