Explain in detail all your answers Problem 3 (35): Dr. is working in a heat exchanger with two shell passes and 10 tube passes. Hot olive oil (Cp - 1970 J/Kg. °C) is to be cooled by means of water (Cp - 4180 J/kg. °C). These tubes are thin walled and made of stainless-steel with a diameter of 3.0 cm. The length of each passage of the tubes in the exchanger is 4 m and the total heat transfer coefficient is 435 W/m2c. Water flows through the tubes at a total rate of 0.10 kg/s and olive oil flows through the hull at a rate of 0.28 kg/s. Water and oil enter at temperatures of 20°c. and 180°C respectively. Determine the rate of heat transfer in the exchanger and the outlet temperatures of the water and oil streams. Olive on m = 0.28 kg/s Th1 180°C Tean? Water the = 0.1 kg/s Te1-20°C Tha?
