The figure shows a dryer operating at steady state. Damp fabric
containing 50% moisture by mass enters on a conveyor and exits with
a moisture content of 6% by mass. The total mass of the fabric and
water exits at a rate of 437 lb/h. Dry air at 150°F, 1 atm
enters, and moist air at 130°F, 1 atm, and 60% relative humidity
exits.
(a) Determine the partial pressure of water in the exit air
