2-(10) Bent bar ABC (AB=10" and BC=8"), fixed at A, is made of a ductile steel with yield and tensile strengths of 50 ksi and 72 ksi, respectively. Force F=500 lbs lies in the x-y plane and makes an angle of 30° with the negative y-direction. a) At the most critical section of the bar, select the point that carries the maximum tensile stress due to bending and find the principal stresses in terms of the bar diameter.
